A watercolour by William Black from the St Ives school titled “three boats” and dated 1969, it measures 18 x 13 ½ cms, this lovely image of a port with three moored boats is reminiscent of the work by Alfred Wallis and Terry Frost, whose paintings he must of been familiar with and inspired him in the creation of his own style.
